LOCATION & TICKETS

THE BIJOU THEATER normally operates out of the Iowa Memorial Union, though for the summer of 2008, the remainder of the Bijou's programming will be shown in Van Allen Hall.

Please use the entrance at the intersection of Iowa & Linn. Tickets can be bought at the door at the time of each show.

THE BIJOU THEATER is located in the Iowa Memorial Union (on the corner of Madison and Jefferson Streets in downtown Iowa City). Regular admission is $5.00, and tickets can be purchased day-of-show only at the IMU Box Office (319-335-3041). Ticket price for Sunday afternoon shows is only $4.00! Ticket prices for special events vary. All screenings are open to the public. Group rates are available for groups of 15-plus; please contact us for details.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Interstate 80 (east or west): Take Exit 244 (Dubuque Street) and turn south. Head straight toward downtown Iowa City until you reach Market Street. Take Market Street west (turn right) and head down the hill. At the base of the hill (at Madison Street) is the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU). Use the east entrance of the IMU. The Bijou Theater is located on the First Floor of the IMU.

Where to Park
Paid parking is available in the Iowa Memorial Union Parking Ramp, located directly across from the east entrance of the IMU on Madison Street. Free on-street parking can be found in the blocks around downtown Iowa City after 5 p.m. Mon-Sat and all-day Sunday. Several city parking ramps are also located downtown.
