features the works of more than 200 American poets, along with six landmark
anthologies of American poetry. The database gathers the works of the
most influential American poets, from the Colonial period to the early
twentieth century.

more than 183,000 poems, comprising essentially the complete canon of
poetry in English from the 8th century to the early 20th. Drawn from
nearly 4,900 printed sources, the collection represents the work of
more than 2,700 poets. Details of the works included in English Poetry,
Second Edition are given in the bibliography.

literature, 1963present. Indexes material on literature, languages,
linguistics and folklore.

Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature (ABELL)
and brief biographical information. You may search for words within
the full texts of literary works, including poems.
