About This Course |
Every
four years, Iowa becomes the center of the political
universe. This is the year. The Iowa caucuses, on
January 19, 2004, will be the first major event in a presidential campaign
that will consume the media and, increasingly, the nation over the next
year.
In this course, you will be part of the press corps covering the men and women who would be president as they use Iowa as a testing ground for their platforms, their organizations and their national campaigns. You will report, write and edit both hard news and features, for print and for the Web; your stories will be accessible worldwide. Welcome to the big leagues!
