The Master's Media Project prepares its students for careers in the media industry by acting as the petri dish for a semester-long Journalism experiment. The first project covered the opening of Riverside Casino. The second project approached the topic of Islam in Iowa. Degrees of Green explores the state of the environment in Iowa in 2008.

Slideshows, video, and a series of "Green Giant" mini-profiles. There are a variety of ways an individuals can make a difference in environmental issues. Proving once again, you don't have to be a scientist working on a NASA project to go green, but it doesn't hurt your chances.
