making prints from photocopies
How to do a xerox tranfer?
You can use wintergreen oil, peppermint oil, or acetone. There are other solvents that work as well. You turn the photocopy face down and paint the back with the oil/solvent. Then you place the image (face down) on to a smooth surface such as bristol board. Next burnish the image with your fingers, a burnisher, or a popsicle stick. The image should transfer to the smooth surface. This also works well for color photocopies.
