Special Guests:

Cellist Mark Johnson of the Vermeer Quartet, and cello prof. at Northern Illinois University. Other cellists from around the state will also be performing and giving classes.

Tentative schedule for the day:

Saturday September 18th

9-10: Registration at Voxman Music Bld. at the University of Iowa. Coffee and doughnuts provided!

10-11am: Cello Choir rehearsal. All cellists welcome to participate!

11-1: Mark Johnson Masterclass

1-2: Lunch(provided by us)/displays/Bach presentation

2-3:30 Events tba

Cello Ensemble Reading/Trying new cellos (3:30-5pm)

6pm: Dinner on your own

7:30 Cello recital: Mark Johnson+others

later evening... cello "nightcap" location TBA

Sunday Sept. 19th

8:30-9am: Coffee/juice/doughnuts.. Come start the day right!

9-10am: activities tba

10-12: Master Class (tba)

12-12:30: Lunch, provided by us

12:30-1:30: Panel discussion tba

1:30-2:30: Cello Choir rehearsal. Everyone should play!

3pm: Cello Ensemble concert in Clapp Recital Hall. Cello Quartets and Cello Choir

afterglow reception to follow!
