Hello all you Cellists! It's that time again! Cello Daze 2009 is upon us again. On September 12th and 13th, 2009, the Iowa Cello Society will be having its 8th annual "Cello Daze" weekend. This year should be a great year with 3 wonderful guests: Tony Ross, principal cellist of the Minnesota Orchestra, Melissa Kraut, Cello Professor at the Cleveland Institute of Music and former Preucil School teacher, and Gregory Sauer, Cello Professor at Florida State University and Iowa native!
All Cello Daze 2009 events will be in the Museum of Art, next to the old music building.

8:30-9am Checking (coffee, juice, and doughnuts)
9-10:30 Cello Choir rehearsal
10:30-12:00 Tony Ross Master Class
12:00-1:30 Lunch/relax
1:30-3:00 Melissa Kraut Master Class
-free until evening concert
7:30pm Guest Artist recital: Atrium of the Museum of Art Building
Sunday September 13th, Museum of Art, University of Iowa
10-11am Tony Ross excerpt class
11-12 Greg Sauer: vibrato
12-1:30 Lunch (The Wedge Pizza!)
1:30-2:30 Touch-up Cello Choir rehearsal
3pm Cello Choir concert
4pm "Afterglow" reception (Cake, punch, other goodies), meet the artists
