Prof. Paul Herrnson of the Univ of Maryland has some extremely useful links on his site -- including a comprehensive guide to the kind of information you will want to look at to get a full picture of campaigns especially at the Congressional level.

There are a ton of political blogs out there nowadays. Take a look at ABCNEWS.COM.

These folks oversee ethics and campaign finance in Iowa.
The Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act
The CFI has an EXCELLENT online guide to the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act on their web site. READ IT!
Common Cause is a one organization actively pushing for Campaign Finance reform. Their web site has an excellent summary of the Federal laws on campaign contributions. They also have a series of studies about campaign finance which you can review. You'll also want to go straight to the horse's mouth by examining the Federal Election Commission's Web Site.
