AIR AMERICA RADIO -- Ok, I'm liberal, after all I'm an active Democrat. So here's a link to Air America Radio, home of the O'Franken Factor, starring Al Franken (And remember, the decade of the 80's was the "Al Franken Decade")!

Students are often concerned about my expectations that papers be written clearly and concisely using standard written English. For those who wish some guidance along these lines, Professor Paul Brians, of Washington State University, has created a site called Common Errors in English which you may find to be an invaluable resource. I encourage you to check it out!

Election 2000 -- the neverending vote count in Florida. You can find a wealth of information about all the various lawsuits that were filed at the Findlaw web site.

REGISTER TO VOTE! You can register to vote at any time so that you're prepared for the next election. This site is part of the official Iowa Secretary of State site, and includes voter registration forms, as well as a range of information and statistics on voting in Iowa.
