INTERESTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS! (Updated 5/5/08)

I will list various opportunities for internships, research experiences, and whatever else might be useful. If you know of something I should list here, please email me with the information.

INTERNSHIPS!!

It is possible to get credit for internships. For more information on getting credit email Prof. Redlawsk

The Iowa Democratic Pary is looking for Interns for Summer 2008.

Iowa PIRG (Public Interest Research Group) is looking for people to get involved with voter rgistration and other efforts they are undertaking. For more detail, see their flyer here.

Democrats may want to check out "jobsthatareleft" on Yahoogroups. This is a liberal job/internship posting list. You can get to it at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jobsthatareleft/ to join the list and get their postings.

GET INVOLVED IN RESEARCH
I routinely involve undergraduate students in my research projects. Every semester I need at least 2 or 3 students interested in taking a research tutorial from me in order to work on ongoing projects. If you are interested in a tutorial (for which you get 3 hours credit) please let me know.
