Also examined were the methodological, didactical, psycholinguistic, and linguistic features of 221 Russian and foreign language textbooks, including textbooks in English, Spanish, and German

Lecturer (2000-present) The University of Iowa. Teaching 1st year Russian, Beginning and Advanced Conversation and Composition, 3-d year grammar, Russian language and civilization.

Visiting Assistant Professor (1997-1998) The University of Iowa/ Iowa Social Science Institute, Iowa City, Iowa. Taught an intensive Russian language course under the auspices of a National Security Education Program Grant for professors who were preparing for Research trip to Russia (summer program)

Visiting Assistant Professor (1993-1998), The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa Taught Russian grammar and conversation to all levels. Courses: Russian Language and gestures and methodology of teaching Russian language, literature reviews of current teaching techniques, creating pedagogical materials, and developing communicative competency.
