To assist students in identifying key elements of the material covered in lecture, the following tutorials have been developed. Each tutorial identifies key terms and key principles. The key terms are definitions of terms used in lecture that may be new to the student. Some of these are defined in the handout, but may be further elaborated upon in the tutorial. Key principles represent new concepts introduced that the student should master. Where appropriate, illustrations of these principles are provided in the tutorial, which should supplement those provided in the lecture. There are also practice problems (links are provided to the answer for each problem). While the problems will not be collected or graded, these problems have been known to appear on exams - so it is well worth your time to do them!
