Answer to Practice Problem #2 Pharmacogenetics Tutorial:

 

The NAT2*13 mutant may be a silent mutation (i.e., it does not result in a change in the amino acid sequence of the enzyme) or it may result in an amino acid change that does not alter the active site or stability of the enzyme.
