Since the gastric emptying rate is faster, the enteric coated aspirin tablet would enter into the intestine quicker. This means the enteric coated tablet would be in a pH environment favorable for dissolution sooner. Recall that the enteric coating on aspirin does not dissolve in the highly acidic environment of the stomach, but will only dissolve at ~pH 6. This is why there is normally a significant lag time for aspirin absorption after administration of an enteric coated tablet. With concomitant metoclopramide, the enteric coated tablet will enter an environment favorable for the coating to dissolve quicker - hence, the lag time will be reduced. However, all other elements of the absorption will remain unchanged. Thus, the onset will be quicker, but intensity and duration will remain the same.
