Announcements (most recent on top)

May 17 Grading is complete. I have finished grading your final papers (quite interesting reading). You can pick them up as usual at WebCT. You can also view your final grade in the WebCT grade book. There are several new columns in the grade book that need some explanation.

Weighted_AVG=0.15(Exam1_T)+0.15(Exam2_T)+0.15(Exam3_T)+0.35(Reaction_T)+0.20*(Reflection_T)

That probably seems pretty complicated, but it's actually the only way to make sure that the scores are appropriately weighted.

Once I had the weighted averages, I examined them and the raw scores to determine cut points between grades, and assigned letter grades.

If you have any questions, feel free to be in touch.

May 10 Grades for Exam 3 are now available through WebCT. Just click the "Check Grades" icon, or choose, "Grade Book" from the navigation bar on the left side of the page. The key is available, as well.

Jan. 26 The photo album is now online. Go to WebCT and click on the camera icon. If you don't see your picture there, it is because I didn't find a permission slip from you. If you want your picture posted, just let me know.

Jan. 22 The results are in! I've tabulated your votes for the topics we'll examine this semester and listed the top four. I have also created the literature search squads. Check the list to see to which squad you have been assigned.
