Multimedia and Second Language Acquisition

Project Report Guidelines, 2010

 

Your final Project Report is due Monday, December 13th, at 12:00 noon. Please name your report with your last name + FinalReport (e.g., OttoFinalReport). Upload your report and additional items listed below (either as separate documents or combined into a single document) to the ICON Dropbox:

  1. Your final report
  2. Your poster session pages
  3. A site map of your module with brief English descriptions of each exercise

 

Your report should be five to six pages long (double-spaced) and include the title of your project and your name on the first page.

 

Your report should follow this outline (please use the same section headings as listed here):

PROJECT TITLE

YOUR NAME


  1. Project Design

    A.     Description
    (a brief description of your lesson)
    B.     Sequencing (a rationale for the sequencing of the activities/pages)
    C.    Curricular Integration (how this lesson would be integrated into the curriculum.)

    Note: For the above three sections feel free to refer to specific pages by name or specific web sites by URL, but do not include screen shots of your exercises.
  1. Relevant Theories (description of the relationship between SLA theory/research and multimedia as exemplified in your project)
  1. Reflections (a brief concluding narrative in which you reflect on your personal experiences as a courseware developer using Hot Potatoes and ObjectMover, possibly including how your final product evolved from the original proposal)
  2. Appendices: Copy of your poster session pages; site map of your module with brief English descriptions of each exercise.
