Introduction
The University Billing Office is the centralized billing and collection point for student accounts and is a division of the Treasurer's Office.
The primary function of the University Billing Office is to issue bills, receive payments, as well as provide the means to help understand some basic aspects of an account at the University of Iowa. While the University Billing Office does post miscellaneous charges and credits to student accounts, the majority of charges and credits originate from other departments. Each of these departments maintain detailed records concerning specific items that appear on the account, and should be contacted directly.

Miscellaneous Information
- If you elect to pay in person at the University of Iowa Community Credit Union by check or cash, please check your balance on ISIS and have your check filled out and ready to hand to the UICCU employee to make the line move as quickly as possible.
- Payments may be dropped off in the box outside of room 3 Jessup Hall after hours. Payments will be posted no later than the following day. The account will therefore be restricted overnight, but the restriction will be removed the following morning when payments are processed. The Reinstatement Fee will not be assessed.
- Useful dates, deadlines, tuition, and financial aid disbursement information may also be found in the Schedule of Courses.
