The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities. CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides continual professional development, advocates for historically underserved individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

Within the pages of this web site we intend to provide you with an opportunity be aware of professional development events your chapter has planned; to enjoy pictures of past events; to read an expanded version of the newsletter; find out about Internet resources in education; and find out about graduate programs in special education; and to learn who your chapter officers are.
