Light and Electron Microscopy Techniques for the Biological Sciences is designed to instruct participants in the application of various microscopy methods for their own research needs. Students will receive instruction in theory, optics, preparative techniques, image optimization, image analysis and interpretation. Laboratories will emphasize use of instrumentation and technique application for individual research and are arranged with staff.

Prerequisites: previous biological science courses and consent of instructor.
