"Fluorophore Solutions in Imaging and Flow Cytometry including Alexa Fluor Dyes, Pacific Days and Qdot Nanocrystals"
This presentation will begin with navigation through the Alexa Fluor series of dyes as well as nanocrystals with emphasis on usage in either microscopy or flow cytometry. The violet laser dyes Pacific Blue and Pacific Orange will be included. We will discuss a few tips to consider when multiplexing with fluorescence, and changes that need to be made to optimize detection of nanocrystal emissions. Finally, reviewing the labeling systems for fluorophores both covalent and non-covalent methods including the tyramide amplification system and the Zenon system.
