Minor in Aging Studies

At the undergraduate level, students in the Colleges of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, or Nursing may complete a minor in aging studies by taking 15 semester hours in qualified courses outside of their major department or college.  Central courses included: Basic Aspects of Aging, Biology of Aging, Psychology of Aging and Cultural Perspectives on Aging

Certificate in Aging Studies

At the undergraduate level, students across a range of disciplines may complete a certificate in aging studies by taking 21 semester hours in approved aging-related courses. Central courses include: Basic Aspects of Aging, Biology of Aging, Psychology of Aging, and Cultural Perspectives on Aging. Practicum and colloquia are required.
