Iowa City Hospice Offers Dementia Educational Guide:

"Providing Care Through the Course of Dementia: A Guide for Caregivers" is a 42-page handbook recently published by Iowa City Hospice, which addresses many common questions and concerns of those caring for a person with dementia. The guide is available for download at the Iowa City Hospice website: www.iowacityhospice.org. Iowa State University Extension Services:

In addition to the above available documents, many other publications of possible interest to families with older adults are offered through Iowa State University Extension Services on their website. This includes such topics as nutrition, caregiving, estate planning, retirement and safety considerations, many of which are downloadable as pdf files or can be ordered in hardcopy on their website at www.extension.iastate.edu/store.
