Welcome to the Hawkeye Chess Club!
About us:
Established in 1993, the Hawkeye Chess Club has played an important role in Iowa Chess. From hosting the tournaments, to representing the University of Iowa at tournaments, to welcoming the incoming student population, the Hawkeye Chess Club offers a friendly atmosphere mixed with an insatiable love for the game! Now, under new management, the chess has returned with a vengance! So please come and support our favorite Hawkeye sport.
Location:
While school is in session, players of all skill levels are welcome to join us to play or watch at the Wedge/Cappanna from 7pm - 11pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
After-hours are at the Dublin or the Deadwood, both of which are located on S. Dubuque st and are across the street from each other
