Curriculum Vitae
Gwen Gruber joins the Department of Classics as a visiting assistant professor and is excited to teach Greek and Latin literature this year.  She received her PhD and MA from The University of Iowa and her BA from Creighton University.  Her main research area is the epic poetry and Epicurean philosophy of the Latin writer Lucretius, and she is currently working on articles about Lucretius' interaction with Hesiod's didactic poetry and about the relationship between atoms and poetry in Lucretius' epic.
