Rosemary Moore holds a joint appointment as an assistant professor of Classics and History, and joined the faculty in 2003. She teaches courses in ancient Greece, Greek history, and Hellenistic Greece and Rome, among others. Professor Moore has a book in progress, The Roman Art of Command: the Roman army general and his troops, 216BC-138AD. Her research interests include Greek and Roman history and Military history. She received an A.B. from Harvard College and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
