Rosemary Moore holds a joint appointment as a lecturer of Classics and History, and joined the faculty in 2003. She teaches courses in ancient Greece, Greek history, and Hellenistic Greece and Rome, among others. Professor Moore has a book in progress, The Roman Art of Command: the Roman army general and his troops, 216BC-138AD. Her research interests include Greek and Roman history and Military history. She received an A.B. from Harvard College and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
