Outcome Studies > Children with Mild to Moderate Hearing Loss
There are nearly one million school-aged children in the United States with a hearing loss. Yet, there is little research about the speech / language, academic, and social development of children with mild to severe hearing impairments. This multi-site study seeks to recruit and test 400 children with hearing loss over a five-year period to assess the struggles and successes of these children and their families.
