T.R.I.P.
The University of Iowa Parking and Transportation Department is sponsoring a ridesharing program for UI faculty/staff. The Rideshare Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.) offers preferred parking assignments in select parking lots to UI employees who carpool together. Our goal is to help reduce traffic congestion and to more effectively use parking spaces on campus.
TRIP is available to groups of 3 or more UI faculty/staff employed 50% time or greater on a fiscal basis. The group may be eligible for a parking lot if at least 2 employees from their group qualify, by work location, for the desired lot. If interested, please read the T.R.I.P.-pool details for additional information. Once you have your group together, fill out the application form and we'll get you enrolled so you can start enjoying your T.R.I.P. to work.
If you don't want to join T.R.I.P. but do want to carpool with other people, the existing carpool arrangements are still available. For more information go to the carpool web page.
