Become a van pool driver.

Drivers ride to and from The University of Iowa free, in exchange for driving the van; following a maintenance schedule and keeping records.

Drivers must meet the University Fleet Safety Program's standards, have a Class D chauffeur's license and attend a UI maxi-van training session.  (Mini-van drivers are exempt from maxi-van training sessions).

• Maintain a "Class D" chauffeur's license for transporting less than sixteen passengers for both maxi and mini vans.
• Drive the van to and from The University of Iowa.
• Pick up and deliver the passengers to and from the University.
• Complete a mileage report each month.
• Fuel the van at Motor Pool.
• Arrange for the van to be routinely serviced or repaired at Motor Pool/or call the Van Pool Office to have the van delivered to Motor Pool.
