The mission of the Iowa Collaboration on Child Language is to advance understanding of childhood language disorders through varied, but integrated, research. Its members -- all based in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at The University of Iowa -- form an intellectual community that fosters and supports our very best work on the problems associated with children’s language development and disorders.

Three separate research groups, each with their own leadership, compose the Iowa Collaboration on Child Language (ICCL).
