Clinical Programs for Stuttering at The University of Iowa
Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic

The Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic at The University of Iowa has a long tradition of providing comprehensive therapy services to children and adults who stutter, and their families. Our stuttering programs are coordinated and supervised by Patricia M. Zebrowski, Ph.D., and Toni Cilek, M.A., both of whom are Board Certified Fluency Specialists (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association) . Our services include:

• Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children and adults
• Consultation (including collaborative consultation with speech-language pathologists serving clients who stutter).
• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Intensive residential therapy program for teenagers who stutter
