Webcasting CBCB Seminars

 

The University of Iowa File sharing project

This project is testing new technologies to allow faculty, staff and students to share their computer files in a secure manner. This Spring selected staff are testing Xythos file sharing capabilities.

Medium NSF ITR for building and evaluating physics Grid collaboratory

This medium National Science Foundation (NSF) Information Technology Research (ITR) project is being proposed to develop, deploy, assess, and evaluate collaborative tools for supporting human-to-human collaborations in the contexts of high-energy nuclear physics (HENP). The project involves more than 8 universities and national labs in the USA. GROW is participating the preparation of the project proposal to contribute to future development efforts on collaborative tools such as shared graphics, shared file systems, and geographical-information-systems-based Grid information broker (GIS-GIB). In addition, GROW will dedicate education and outreach efforts to the project.

Webcasting CBCB seminars

Throughout the Spring 2003 semester, the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology(CBCB) is sponsoring a series of seminars. This project is webcasting each of these seminars.
