Video Conferencing

The Video Services group within ITS Telecommunication and Network Services provides video conferencing services to campus. Their web-site provides information on video comferencing and has a good discussion of video conferencing technologies and options. There is also an FYI Article on this service available on-line.

Web casting

Web casting is a developing service provided by ITS video services. This service is already being used to broadcast and archive campus events such as the CBCB Spring seminar series.

Consulting on collaborative tools is available for faculty and staff through Academic Technologies.

ICN CLassoroms

Classrooms attached to the Iowa Communications Network (ICN--the State of Iowa's fiber optic network) are designed to transport voice, data and video signals statewide are available through the Division of Continuing Education.
