The Collegiate Readership Program (CRP), originally created at Penn State University, currently reaches nearly 500 colleges and universities. Through the CRP, the UI provides students with a diverse selection of newspapers available at the 'swipe of a card'. Using your ID card, you can access daily copies of USA Today, the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, and the Des Moines Register. The Financial Times is available in the Pappajohn Business Building. All papers are provided through student fees and there is no additional cost to students - a student ID swipe simply helps to monitor readership and program usage.
Newspaper kiosks are conveniently located at over 23 sites in buildings across campus.
