It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Council on the Status of Latinos (CSL) at the University of Iowa. The CSL is experiencing an exciting time of change in Iowa, as the Latino population begins historic growth in the state. The Latino staff and faculty at Iowa come together with students to create a community here on campus.

Throughout the academic year we program events that bring our community and the greater university together, celebrating our cultures, educating ourselves and others, and promoting higher education to the prospective student. Our events are open to all, and we welcome anyone who would like to attend our meetings.

Please look through our web site to see what the Council is involved in, and please feel free to send me an email if you have any questions about Latino life on campus.

Council on the Status of Latinos
