Nominations Committee

Committee chair: Dee Gansemer

The nominations committee works each year to identify candidates for open positions on the Council for the Status of Women.  The committee reviews all applications, and presents the candidates to the Committee as a whole at the April meeting.

The committee is also responsible for identifying areas of the nomination and application process which need attention.  The nominations committee reviews the applications each spring, searching for applicants with a commitment to diversity, and valuses that contribute to an environment that supports the rights of all women at The University of Iowa.
