There are other possibilities for support beyond the Center for the Book Graduate Fellowships. Students may be able to secure support from University financial aid sources or from outside funding agencies. Teaching and research assistantships are occasionally available. Short-term working internships may also be available to qualified non-student professionals, notably in the areas of bookbinding and papermaking. Work-study and part-time positions may be available in the UICB facilities and offices and in other University departments and programs (including among many others the Libraries, the University Press, and University printing, audio-visual, and computer services).
Contact the head of each area for current work information.
