Academics/Scholarship

Delta Chi Fraternity maintains high academic expectations from its members and associates:
- Delta Chi GPA is typically at or above the university average GPA
- Associate members (new recruits) are expected to observe study hours based on academic performance
- Upperclassmen mentorship for associate members ensures that new members have the support they need academically

Social/Intramurals
- Most weeks of the school year, members attend functions with one or more sororities
- Socials usually have a theme - Hawaiian Night, Cowboy/Cowgirl, My Tie and Graffiti Party, etc.
- Informal social events at the Delta Chi house, such as sand volleyball and barbecues
- Tailgating and barbecues before U of Iowa football games
- Homecoming and Greek Week events
- Formal Dance and Dinner in the spring, and Semi-Formal in the fall
- Members compete in intramurals offered at the U of I, such as football, basketball, soccer, and billiards

Philanthropy

Delta Chi participates in Philanthropic events that benefit the community and charities, including:
- Delta Chi Mud Volleyball Tournament in September (photos)
- Participation from all U of Iowa Sororities
- One of the most popular philanthropic events on campus
- Participation in sorority-sponsored events including Casino Night, wing eating contests, sports tournaments, etc.
