Publishes a broad range of books, with 30-35 new titles each year

Particularly if you’re leaning more toward periodical publishing, there are other potential opportunities throughout campus. Many departments and offices have their own newsletters and publications, so you might see if you can arrange an internship with one of them. Furthermore, Ed on Campus, a student group, invites all majors to join and explore the magazine industry, and the UI student-run newspaper The Daily Iowan accepts applications from students in any major.

• Covers marketing strategies, book and magazine production, financial applications, and information systems
