Retaliation against complainants, alleged victims, or witnesses who provide information during an investigation is prohibited. When a complaint is brought, the University will take reasonable steps to protect the complainant, alleged victim, and witnesses from retaliation. Acts of retaliation should be reported immediately to the administrator who is resolving an informal complaint, or to the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity if a formal complaint has been brought. Acts of retaliation will result in disciplinary action regardless of the outcome of the underlying complaint.
