Students invited to Off-Campus Living Expo Nov. 5
The University of Iowa Off-Campus Housing Service and the City of Iowa City, with the support of UI Student Government and Student Legal Services, are presenting an Off-Campus Living Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Iowa Memorial Union Main Lounge.
The Off-Campus Living Expo will provide students with vital information and tips for living on their own. The event will be helpful to students transitioning from living in the residence halls and also those currently living in apartments.
More than 25 service providers with expertise in tenant/landlord topics, entertainment and recreational opportunities, and health and safety concerns will be present to give advice. Students are encouraged to ask questions and bring concerns about the opportunities and responsibilities involved with living off campus.
For more information on the Off-Campus Living Expo, contact Penny Kaelber at 319-335-3058.
