Men's, women's basketball squads to host exhibition doubleheader

The University of Iowa men's and women's basketball teams will play exhibition games against Marian University and Washburn University, respectively, on Sunday, Nov. 8, in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The men will tip off at 12:35 p.m., while the women will take the floor at 3 p.m. Tickets for the men's game are $5, and those who buy tickets for the men's game can stay for the women's contest as well. Tickets for the women's game are $3 (free for UI students with UI ID). All tickets can be purchased here.

The men's team will open its regular season on Sunday, Nov. 15, against the University of Texas–San Antonio in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The women's team will begin its regular season on Saturday, Nov. 14, against Santa Clara University in the KCRG-TV9 Hawkeye Challenge, also in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
