Women's basketball team to host annual Hawkeye Challenge

The University of Iowa women's basketball team will welcome three teams to Iowa City as participants in the KCRG-TV9 Hawkeye Challenge on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14–15.

Teams from Illinois State University and the University of California–Los Angeles will start the tournament at noon, Saturday, Nov. 14, in Carver-Hawkeye Arena; the Hawkeyes will face Santa Clara University around 2:30 p.m. Iowa will play either Illinois State or UCLA at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, depending on the outcome of Saturday's games.

Tickets are $9 per day ($5 for youth; free for UI students with a valid UI ID) and are available online through the athletics ticket office.
