Clinical Laboratory Sciences B.S.

If you are interested in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences B.S. you should be ready to take 22M:15 Math for the Biological Sciences.  You will also need to take an applied statistics course.

Here’s what you need to do to be ready for 22M:15 Math for the Biological Sciences:

Master the work in first year algebra (22M:1)
Master the work in second year algebra (22M:8)

If you take statistics through the Advanced Placement Program, you need to earn at least a 4 on the AP Statistics exam in order to receive credit at the University of Iowa.

If you take a statistics course at a community college or university while you are still in high school, you need to do well because the grade you earn may help determine whether you are admitted to a competitive major.
