The University Safety and Security Committee (USSC) has identified the following goals:

Current Projects:

• To develop a web page on Safety. Work in progress

• Effectively communicate information and resources, currently available from Dept. of Public Safety (DPS) i.e. “Survivor Support Resource Packet” for survivors of sexual assault. Work in progress

• DPS to offer outreach training to second shift Custodians. Work in progress

Side Issues:

·        Market and Jefferson St. crossings of T. Anne Cleary Walkway

·        Blue Cap phones new and future installs

·        Campus Lighting, currently on hold

Policy Updates:

·        Reviewed the “Environmental, Health and Safety Policy”

·        Reviewed and made minor changes to “Use of Force Protocol”
