The University Safety and Security Committee (USSC) has identified the following goals:
Current Projects:
- Web page on Health and Safety went “Live” in December 2003.

- Effectively communicate information and resources, currently available from Dept. of Public Safety (DPS) i.e. “Survivor Support Resource Packet” for survivors of sexual assault. More time has been allotted during student orientation
Side Issues:
· Campus Lighting, currently on hold
· Monitoring future access issues at UI Residence Halls
Future Policy Updates:
· To review the resulting document of combining “Continuity of Operations” and “Critical Incident Management Plan (CIMP)”
