Holiday Thieves' Art Market
Each year hundreds of artists from all over the Midwest and beyond compete to exhibit and sell their work at our nationally renowned Holiday Thieves' Art Market, an art show and sale. Artists at this show will exhibit and sell their original work in painting, ceramics, photography, woodworking, drawing, jewelry, fiber, metal, needlework, and much more. The Holiday Thieves' Market is held once a year on a designated weekend in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union, University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. A jury selects the artists accepted to each show. The Holiday Thieves' Art Market has become a trademark of the FAC and provides a financial basis for other programming like the Student Art Grants. Admission to the show is free to the public.

Riverbank Art Fair
The Riverbank Art Fair is an outdoor art exhibition and sale held annually in conjunction with The University of Iowa's Riverfest and River Run. Like the Thieves' Art Market, the Riverbank Art Fair features artists from all over the Midwest and beyond. Artists compete to exhibit and sell their fine art work in painting, ceramics, photography, woodworking, drawing, jewelry, fiber, metal, needlework, and much more. The Riverbank Art Fair is held in the spring and is located near Hancher Auditorium on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, Iowa. A jury also selects the artists accepted into this show. Admission to the show is free to the public. Shows will continue rain or shine. Food and entertainment will also be provided.
