Welcome to the FLARES website!

Welcome to the website of the students of the Second Language Acquisition program at the University of Iowa. Our program is under the Foreign Language Acquisition Research and Education (FLARE) program. This website is designed to introduce prospective students to the people and projects that make up the FLARE community at The University of Iowa. In addition, it also serves current SLA students providing them with valuable information about funding possibilities, upcoming conferences, publication venues, etc.
