International Study Experience

The undergraduate program offers various opportunities for periods of study and research abroad in France, Quebec, Italy, and Africa. In cooperation with the Office of Study Abroad, students may arrange to study abroad and may receive course credit at the University of Iowa.

Students who study abroad in Lyon on the Regents Summer Program in France receive University of Iowa credit! Print and fill out the application form, or stop by 120 International Center for a copy. Contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies (Michel Laronde) for more details.

The graduate program includes the opportunity to apply for year-long exchange programs with:

the University of Picardie (Amiens),
the University of Poitiers and
the University of Pau

This provides graduate students who enroll in the program the opportunity to participate in a one year residency in France and to broaden their language and cultural perspectives.
