Culture and Civilization Track

31 semester hours

The culture and civilization track is designed for students who are interested in French history, politics, and culture. It is recommended for students who wish to combine studies in French with a major in another field, such as political science, history, law, journalism or communications.

B.A. requirements for the culture and civilization track include the following:

Four courses in French culture
Three courses in French literature or language
At least 2 of the above courses must be above the 9:150 level, and one of the above course may be taught under the Department number (009) in English. Courses in English with an extra 1 s.h. session in French count as French courses.
