Free Radical and Radiation Biology Program
The University of Iowa

The Free Radical & Radiation Biology Program offers program of study leading to the PhD and MS degrees. The department also offers opportunities for qualified and interested students to pursue combined programs leading to the MD-PhD through the medical scientist training program (MSTP).

First, prospective applicants to the Free Radical & Radiation Biology Program should complete the Prospective Student Questionnaire below.

Second, applications to Free Radical & Radiation Biology are submitted via the Biosciences Centralized Application System, an electronic application system that streamlines the admissions process for 13 PhD training programs, including the Free Radical & Radiation Biology PhD program.

The electronic application system transmits your file directly to the Free Radical & Radiation Biology’s Admission Committee for evaluation.
